Mission
Giving the tools away.
Good storytelling shouldn’t depend on a big budget. Through the Foundation, we teach the craft we practice every day and give production time to organizations doing important work in the region.
Every program is run by working members of the EC Media Group crew, on real equipment, with real projects at the end.

Ages 14–19
Youth Media Lab
A free after-school series covering camera, sound, editing, and drone safety, ending with a short film screened for families.
Regional nonprofits
Nonprofit Story Grants
Donated production days for organizations that need a film or photo library to tell their story and reach supporters.
Students and educators
Gear Library
Cameras, microphones, and lighting kits available on loan to schools and student projects.
